Madeline began working in the field of veterinary medicine at age 17, driven by a lifelong love for caring for animals both big and small. She completed her Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) program in 2020 and continues to bring passion and dedication to her work every day. Outside of work, Madeline enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their two rescue kitties, Luna & Gertie.

She has worked in the veterinary field since 2011, supporting both doctors and patients with skill and compassion. With a strong passion for surgery and clinical pathology, Kylie thrives in fast-paced clinical environments, where attention to detail and quality care are essential. Known for her commitment to patient well-being and teamwork, Kylie continues to bring valuable expertise and enthusiasm to every case.

Kayla is a graduate through PennFoster and has been a RVT Since 2011. She is Married, has 2 girls and a little dog named Mimi -chihuahua / yorkie mix that looks like a bat. Enjoys hiking, gardening, and making new recipes from pinterest.

Ren is one of our registered veterinary technicians. She started working with Dr. Shelly & Dr. Hanlon during her externship after completing technician school at the Vet Tech Institute 5 years ago- back when Olive Animal Hospital was a future dream! She has 4 pets at home- her dog Cranberry (who is ironically obsessed with cucumbers), her 2 kitties Robin and Zelda, and her spoiled hermit crab Peggie! Ren enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

Emilee is currently working as Olive Animal Hospital’s receptionist and veterinary aide. She has over 3 years of service in the veterinary field and is currently enrolled in school. She has over 20 years experience in the professional workforce as an art and special education teacher. She is passionate about delivering individualized quality service and care to all the furry friends and their owners that come to Olive. When she is not at work she is painting, hiking, kayaking or going on adventures.

Brittany is a dedicated professional in the field of veterinary medicine, with a career that began in 2014. Passionate about animals and their well-being, she quickly found her calling in the industry, where she has been making a meaningful impact ever since. Brittany has 3 pets of her own. One of her cats, Moana, lives at Olive. You will most likely find her sleeping on the bench in the lobby or meowing for treats! Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, shopping, baking and taking naps!

Dr. Michael Hanlon is an Indy Southside native and attended Purdue for both his undergrad and Masters degree before attending Iowa State University College of veterinary Medicine.
He spent several years practicing in Avon and Plainfield (both equine and small animal) and is now returning to Hendricks County.
His primary professional interests are in general surgery, pain management, and dentistry. Dr Hanlon enjoys spending time outside with his beautiful wife and partner, causing chaos with all six of the crazy kids, golfing, woodworking, and recently black smithing.
And who could forget wrecking all fiends and evil doers in the fey wild with divine smite of a paladin in D&D (dungeons and dragons).

Dr. Shelly is a Hendricks county native whose love for animals lead her to obtain her Doctorate Of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue in 2016. Her interests include senior pet care, pain management, hospice and palliative care, cleft palates and other congenital birth defects, as well as wound healing. Personal and compassionate relationships with her clients and their pets are the magic ingredients in her work day. When she’s not working, she is spending time with her loving husband and family, baking (cupcakes are her favorite) reading historical fiction, and snuggling with her dog, Chip (the handsome boy pictured with her).
